  • EarthEcho International
    Co-Founder and President

EarthEcho International was founded in honor of my father Philippe Cousteau Sr. and is well on its way to becoming one of the leading names in environmental education, with broad partnerships that allow our organization to reach educators across the country. Our mission is to empower youth with the knowledge and tools to take action that protects and restores our water planet.  Working with our sponsors and partners, we provide our resources free of charge to thousands of educators, youth, and families across the United States .  Research consistently shows that young people play a major role in environmental decision-making at home, influencing their parents’ behaviors and guiding family decisions with regard to recycling, energy use, and water use and believe it or not…even how they vote on environmental issues.

    Chief Spokesperson

Expo 2012 is an international Exposition to be held in Yeosu, South Korea from May 12 to August 12, 2012.  Featuring the theme of “The Living Ocean and Coast”, Expo 2012 anticipates participation by more than 100 countries and international organizations with attendance by eight million visitors.  I am proud to be the spokesperson and for my team to have been chosen by the US Department of State to design and operate the United States Pavilion at Yeosu. Featuring the themes of Diversity, Wonder and Solutions, The USA Pavilion will share the voices and hopes of the American people with our friends and partners in Korea and around the globe. The 13,000-square foot exhibition space will house exhibits and programming that represent the unique and diverse nature of America’s ocean environments and coastal communities. The United States’ participation in Expo 2012 demonstrates the comprehensive nature of our global partnership with the Republic of Korea.  As friends and allies, we are working together all around the world to tackle some of today’s most difficult challenges. Through this partnership, our two nations have advanced practical solutions to the world’s energy and environmental challenges.
